Day at Louvre Abu Dhabi- Museum

It was Friday the 13th when we decided to visit the Louvre Abu Dhabi, we we’re hesitating at first to push through with our visit that day because we have this superstitious beliefs that Friday the 13th is a bad luck or unlucky day, after a very long nonsense discussion we still end up visiting the place.yes! The Louvre Abu Dhabi was opened at the beginning of November 2017 and became one of the top must visit place in Abu Dhabi. I don’t know why we just recently visited the place but still glad that we did. The museum is open daily from 10:00am to 8:00pm.

The Louvre was located on the Saadiyat Island in the Cultural District. You can get there in three ways by bus, taxi and car. The cheapest way is taking a bus from Abu Dhabi Bus station to Saadiyat Louvre the Public bus route no.94 will take you there around 34 minutes. Alternatively, taking the taxi is the fastest option and takes around 15 min or with your car which is just a 5 minute drive from the downtown Abu Dhabi.

First Aura picture outside of the museum.
I don’t know what to call this but this a huge alley going to the entrance of the Museum.
Instagramable background right?hehe

We go by taxi and the drop off point is situated in front of the main entrance. It’s quite fascinating while walking to the main building you will see already the roof of the museum it’s really an architectural masterpiece. I’m quite excited to go in!

Forgot to take picture of the stunning building outside, but this photo was a closer look of the roof of the museum

We didn’t booked our ticket in advance, therefore we had to stand in a queue to get them. And we’re lucky we didn’t had to wait too long that time since we arrive early and there’s not a lot of people waiting in the line. so Adult tickets cost around 60AED and i think it’s a great value for money attraction.hehe! You can book your tickets in advance, if you want to avoid long queue and to save time.
